Learn about the range of traditional blades available in three different locking types:
F.L.C. “free lock”;
S.L.C. “self locking” with ball bearing lock using eccentric ring, facilitating the locking operation through a simple rotation of the bottom knife on the shaft;
M.L. “multi lock” with clamps and dowel; unlike traditional dowel-lock bottom knives, in the ML system the dowel does not protrude from the inner diameter of the bottom knife, thus preventing damage to the surface of the shaft; the bottom knife is then locked by tightening the spring steel clamps around the entire circumference, ensuring self-centering and maintaining shaft balance.
